Founded by Dr. Williams, our board-certified expert in sports medicine, rehabilitation, and surgery, Eastern Carolina Veterinary Referral began with a vision to offer pets in Eastern North Carolina the same high level of medical expertise available at top-tier human hospitals. What started as a specialty-focused practice has since grown into a thriving, full-service referral and emergency hospital.
Today, our dedicated team includes 115+ veterinary professionals and 17 experienced doctors, all working together under one roof to provide collaborative, comprehensive care. Whether it’s a late-night emergency or a complex concern, we’re here to support pets through every stage of healing.
We are continuously growing—adding new services, expanding our team, and enhancing our facility—to better serve our referring veterinarians, clients, and most importantly, the pets who depend on us.
